Default Aero 4040XL detailed pictures

Look what Daddy got..
Late Xmas present to my self. Thanks to "AKA-Chewy" I got my Aero 4040xl via 2 day FedEx!! Thanks again Chewy and thanks for the lighting shipping!!
Anyway, I was going to try and see if I could install it today but came to thr realization that not only is is a bitch to get the muffler off, It's also shorter that the stock muffler and I need to go see a muffler shop for some new tailpipe section.
In the mean time though, I busted out the camera and got some detailed pictures of it so you can see inside and out what it looks like...............They are big pictures so be patient.

Still too short, I would still have to have a pipe made. I didn't measure it but the cat is prolly around 40" long and the Aero is only 26".

does any1 have a clue as to what we would need for piping to delete a stock muffler and cat and just put a aero4040xl in the stream? Obviously a muffler delete pipe but will we need another foot or so of str8 4 inch pipe?

What I plan to do is take out the cat and muffler and have one piece made from the downpipe to the aero and keep the excisting tailpipe. or maybe have a new stainless tailpipe section too if it's the right price. I will keep all the stock stuff incase I need to put it back on.

No worries man, glad it worked out. It's too bad they go under the truck because they are a cool looking piece of equipment. Get some audio clips when you got a chance.
