Tell him to wait until you each have at least a couple hundred thousand miles on the clock, and then run 'em side by side. Oh wait... the Ford won't be around in a couple hundred thousand miles. Nevermind.
A stock QC SRT out of the wrapper is not any quicker/faster than a Lightning out of the wrapper, possibly just behindthe Lightning. In addition to the weight the QC has a detuned flash to give the auto a little break and increase the towing rating.
I came acorss a Lightning last year (before SC after exhaust). Ran 45ish-100ish, he was a number of lenghts behind.
Lightnings can get a big boost by simply changingthe SC pully to increase boost to 8psi or so.
I am waiting on my next lightning, what will he think when he hits it, I hit it and he realizes he is not the only one with a whine.
Your numbers on the Lightning are wrong, it is amid 5 second truck (5.3-5.5)on the 0-60 scale. This site is about .2 off (they are low)on both the SRT and Lightning 0-60 times.
