I JUST got that email ( with the real picture ) a minute ago from a friend of mine. I can't believe they floated a power strip on a pair of flip flops.
"Ground Fault Inter..................What? Throw me another beer!!!"
ground fault circuit interuptor (GFI, or GFCI for short0
when an excessive load (ground fault/ short circuit, or over load by amperage draw) on the circuit is present, the gfi trips causing the power output to stop 100% thus stalling any deaths (for you mafia peoplewho screw up too often ) and saving many lives and equipment.
why those egg heads ran power strips in flip flops through water is beyond me.
I would have at least use 1 solid extension cord
or power strips with surge supressors to trip out when they get wet...
GFI - typically found in your house : bathroom, near kitchen sink, garage, and outisde.
