I would clean off the transfer as much as possable, then drive around a bit to see if you can pinpoint exactly where the ATF is comeing from.

also check your tranny and make sure the fluid if at the right level

Hell with that. Use the warranty and let the dealership do the dirty work.

I agree. let them deal with it. I finally take Diablo in on Saturday, hopefully for a one day fix. I miss Diablo terribly

If you have a 5.9 that red fluid may be a coolant leak that has a simple fix. Read this https://dodgeforum.com/m_421890/tm.htm from post #5 on, pay attention to the clamps on the short piece of flexible coolant hose they are notoriously loose. In short the clamps are loose, coolant runs down between the rear of the block and the front of the tranny and drips off the tranny, and the coolant has a red tint to it. If this is the problem its a five minute fix.

Default leakin

its red fluid dripping from where the drive shaft goes into the tranny/transfer case, also dripping red fluid from the gasket at the middle of the transfer case, ..... the front of the tranny at the bellhousing has engine oil drip there like mainshaft seal?

Have you had it serviced recently? The tech might of "dip" checked the levels in the Tcase and didn't clean it up. If you don't see a trail from anywhere just check your levels and drive around slow using 2 and 4 wheel drive functions then recheck for a trail. Output shaft seals are common on ALL vehicles but there is that gasket between the case and transmission to which isn't as fun to change...

The worst case scenario is the Transfer case Halves not sealing together...That a crappy repair to do.

If its on warranty let them do it man. All of the above suck to do on the ground unless you've got a hoist that is...

Good Luck
