You mean the one like in my 2001 Ram that felt like you just dropped the transmission when it engaged? I like the electronic switch in my 2006 MUCH better.

Im sick of everybody going to these pos electronic transfer cases, I dont trust a damn switch when im in some deep mud. What happened to the good old mechanical engaged transfer case. This is crap. Bunch of cheep asses.

"The big news will be a new turbodiesel from Cummins, showing up in 2010; it will greatly increase low-end torque while slashing gas usage by nearly a third and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 20%, compared to a similar gas engine. The Cummins diesel will meet 50-state emissions standards for 2010."

So is this a different engine than the current 6.7?

I know what amock means. One of my criteria was a manual engaging transfer case. Not a fan of the electronic switches.

Where is the stick on a manual or manual trannies gone forever? I like my center console on the 01 3500 where its down low, dont bother me any. I just want a manual that I shift, not the truck with a click of the button. Clutch/Brake/Throttle Thats how it is in a semi thats how I want it in my pickups
huh? it clearly says that there will be a stick shift available for the 4.7L and 3.7. there never has been a stick for the hemi

wiat a sec that site is wrong. the 4.7L has a standard shift available this site says it don't. theres a bunch others that do.

no wait yea further down they have it. the 545rfe is an option on the 4.7L which would mean that the standard shift tranny is the standard equipment

Seen them on the Detroit Auto Show website. I especially like the side box storage. I believe it was the part about "5 cases (120 cans) of your favorite beverage" x 2. How to explain to the officer that it came standard with 10 cases of Michelob Lite?[&:]
Its also offered with a manual trans, 4-spd and 5-spd auto. Needs a longer bed though.

Yes. It will be a V-8. I think it will be a 5.6 liter, but I'm not 100% sure. I heard it will have 300 hp and 505 ft-lbs of torque and get 25 mpg on the highway. That would be pretty impressive for a half-ton truck.
