Default Performance Questions

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 with CTD, auto trans. Not new but definitely a darn good truck. I would like to make some modest performance enhancements at very modest cost. It is completely stock now. What would anyone recommend? Thanks!

im sure you will find all kinds on information on our site being that mods is pretty much 99% of our conversations but the easiest ones would be exhaust, air box, a programmer (chip) and maybe some gauges?!?!

best thing to do would be to learn as much as you can about the P7100 injector pump. turn the star wheel up some, slide the fueling plate forward to give yourself somemore fueling advance.

oh, BTW, check and make sure the KDP(Killer Dowl Pin) has been tapped and is under controll. if not it will crack the front cover and you'll have to disassemble the entire front end of the engine.
