I noticed today that ontop of the oil filter pad theres a pipe plug fitting. That should be oil pressure should it not? what gauge should I get to plug in there? a analog/manual or a digital one. And where to mount the gauge?

I would say an electronic gauge that way you dont have to deal with an issolator and an oil line running across the engine compartment. A 80 psi gauge should do the trick.
