Went to clean the engine today. Put a plastic grocery bag over my new Amsoil filter with pre-filter. Degreased the engine. I was stupid enough to start it with the bag still over the filter. The filter caved in!! I could hear it collapse about a second after the truck started. There is now a clean crease all the way around the filter where it pinched in. I feel stupid even talking about it! But it was kinda funny too!!

HA HA HA HA. . .nice. . .bet you wont do that again.

 

I thought about it as I put the bag over the filter. I told myself...don't forget about it.....and sure enough I did. And it'll never happen again!! It looked pretty funny all collapsed insidethe vacuum torqued bag. It actually sucked a little air back in and rebounded as I untied the baggie.

HA HA HA HA.....sorry, but I laughed out loud when I read that.

The dumbest thing I've ever did was put power steering fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. A late night hurry up type of thing and I wasn't even thinking until I put the cover back on. Then the OHHHHHHHHHH SHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!77777777 reaction came.

 

I'd make sure to double check that you didn't tear it somewhere...
