yeah his is a flatbed though and not a 5500, oh and a CTD too. This one was fully loaded at the time with a generator + tools. and you have to remember too, it was a 6.0 and those motors in a heavy truck=slow.

 

I was road testing an IH4200 rollback tow truck with the vt365 in it and a 6 speed rockwell trans. That thing was a dog unloaded. Wouldnt even break the tires loose in gravel. Have to wind 'er up to redline before you shift going up hills or else you aint making the next gear.[&:]

sorry about that JR, today was my first day in a manual tranny...3 pedals and 2 feet...just gets a little overwhelming. one hand on the wheel...one on the shifter, working both feet...one eye on the road, the other on the gauges. i don't know how, but that jeff gordon sure does of good job of it.
