Default boost gauge install

I got a 40 dollar Autometer gauge from autozone and I installed it today. After so research about how to hook it up, I decided to make a hole in the air horn and put it in there. Well I didnt have the right tap so I drilled a hol and starting to tap and hole but the hole was too small so I got the best fitting size adapter it came with and some teflon tape are screwed in there slowing with some force. I'll work for now and heres a pic of it.

some kid at Autozone when I bought it said I could hook it up off any vacuum line cause thats what he did on his RX-7 and I was thinking the diesel isnt like that.

So what kinda boost are you seeing?

Watch that you don't kink that hose. You may want to wrap it in some split loom.

The truck is stock as far as I know, All I've done to it is straight pipe and custom air intake. It won't go past 95 mph cause of the boost limiter I think but some guy thought I had it chipped cause it starts up real quick
