dealer wanted $250 to change fluid in both axles with mopar oil, i bought the royal purple for $112 and paid the dealer $90 in labor to change the fluid

i did my front and rear and it took 9 quarts for both.
Mine only took 7.5 qts and it was runing out the fill hole so I wonder why yours took so much more. I didn't think they made any changes to the axels between 2006 and 2007.5.

Not to butt in, but I noticed that agargano98's truck is a 3500, whereas yours is a 2500. Do the one-tonners have a bigger diff than the 3/4's?

IIRC both trucks 2500 and 3500 use the same 11.5 rear ends.
