One just sold at Barrett Jackson last saturday for 40K. I couldn't believe it only went for that.

Damn..........can you just imagine trying to lift one of those behemoths??? Looks like ya need afork liftjust to handle the spare!!

 

Wow, only $40k? What a steal. I seen this before on an RV show on the travel channel I think. Called Draco. Its built from a used airport support truck. He is a very talented man, as he built the thing all by himself. It has an elevator in the side so his wife could get in and out as she was in a wheel chair and could not walk. By looking at the website I get the feeling she passed on.

yep, one and the same. He had to have waaaaaay more than $40 grand building that thing. On the tv show he toured around with a couple that had a F-700 van body 4x4 truck converted to a motorhome with a henry J (or a studebaker) bolted to the top for a bedroom. Definitely on the wild side...

 

I saw Draco at the 2007 Tampa RV show. The builder and his Father were there talking about it. I remember the price as over $200K. This was the first show they had brought it. It is for those serious people who really want to get away from the rat race.
