I probably won't put it on this truck but the next one I buy will have a flat bed on it.

Here is a guy going thru the same situation. I read this earlier today on another site......... http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/general-diesel-discussion/45392-flat-bed-discrimination.html
I was just thinking of that thread when I saw this one

Either way, I LOVE the look of that flatbed !!

and to put it on the road it cost me400$ more per year +60 for registering in the heavy truck 3500kg+
and insurance goes for 900$ per year
i need to stop at truck scale to be checked but fortunately on my usual trip there is only 2 and i know my way around so

BTW, I wasn't trying to **** on your parade. I just know how bad it sucked for some other guys. Never hurts to pass on a little helpfull information.
As far as utility beds go, that one you chose is among the best I have seen!

I appreciate all the info that I can get. The reason I say that I will wait is because I probalby wont keep this truck for more than a couple years and don't want to spend that much money on it just to turn around and trade it in.

CM makes it, the reason why I choose that brand because I have a friend that owns a body shop and can get it here and installed alot cheaper.
