My CTD Ram is one of those that shipped with the block heater installed, but no cord. I've ordered a cord, and wondered if this group had any opinions, yea or nay, as to whether I should coat the connector with dielectric grease before installing it so as to exclude moisture?
The fitting you connect it with is rubber coated and it is fairly high on the block ( right next to turbo down tube from airbox ), but dielectric grease certainly won't hurt as mayfair mentioned.
