not to threadjack, but what dodge calls "anti-slip differential" is what us normals call posi, correct? and does anyone make a selectable locker for the '06 & '07 11.5" axle?

First, take her up to about 2500rpm or so, dump the clutch. If smoke comes from both tires or there are 2 black marks on the pavement, you have a "posi".[sm=burnout.gif]
There should be a sticker or something in the truck that would tell you, or there should be a tag on the axle, if its still there (the tags sometimes come off). You can also jack up the rear of the truck and spin one wheel, if the other side turns in the opposite direction its an open rear, if it spins the same direction its a posi rear. (would do this test whenever I was looking for junkyard axles). My '05 has a tag in the glove box that gives the axle type and gear ratio. Back in the day the Detroit locker was the best and most indestructable differential you could buy.

i will check on the differential today for that tag. i know theres a sticker under the hood that tells me the its a dana 80 and the front is a dana 60 with a 3.5 gear ratio.
