No it wasnt, it was because of the fact we have enough nice trucks we could vote for our nomination. It was suggeted that we could do either or. Alot of poeple were so sick of the way TOTm was going we were nominating anyone and making sure they won. And I had suggested either parting ways and having our own TOTM or voting in our nomination.

The last time we had a good thread on this we got all of 28 votes on if we should run a mini-nomination before TOTM opened. We got two pages of discussion and then it went off-topic. We never really made a decision as a group of if we should or shouldn't do it. We agreed that the site has ONE TOTM vote and that was enough. There was never a need to pull the CTD's out of the main competition and run our own. There is no need to pull a complete boycott of the current system. But everyone seemed to agree that if we were going to put a CTD in every month then we would always have the bickering w/ the gassers. We all also seemed to agree that having a mini-vote / thread discussion on it guaranteed that all of us would 100% vote for the CTD that was put in. It all depends on the competition that is brought to the table by the other groups. Normally every month we run a thread and as a group pretty much decide who is going to be put in anyhow.

Thankfully this last month was a clean run and there wasn't a whole **** load of mud being tossed like has happened in the past. All in all it is a fun little system. Since there is nothing but bragging rights on the line it makes it less stressful.

As for how to get nom'd and get into the vote...bribes always work well

well i guess the totm should mean that us diesels, should run with the gassers, i dont understand why every truck on here that has a gallery should be put in a page, people should look at them and decide on who they want to be totm and vote for what they think is the nicest ride. then for the 12 month winners they should be voted on at the end of the year for the toty award, then we get tshirts, plate borders, stickers etc, ahaha
