Default Would a AERO4040xl raise EGTS?

By now you have all heard that i have a egt issue with my edge juice attitude. I can easily hit 1300 on level 1. My question is that is the aero the culprit. Lots say that it is. I deleted my cat and stock muffler and put the aero4040 where the cat was. Did I increase back pressure by doing this? should i put stock muffler back on to lower egts? Sounds like the stock muffler lowers egts by the sound of things?

who ever told you a Aero would rasie EGT's is not right at all. You couldn't have a more restrictive exhaust than the cat and muffler that's on there stock. The Aero is a complete free flow muffler and if anything dropped the back pressure some.

To answer your question.... no, it would not.

btw... I dropped close to 100F when I removed my stock exhaust system.

Was the Aero installed correctly with the rings to the REAR?

That is the ONLY way I'd say that you MIGHT have a problem.
