Default 6.7 08 5500

Would like some input on the goods and bads of the new 6.7's. I have been looking around the sight and found good info. Sounds like the new auto trans is doing its job. I have had several Fords and Chevy's with the diesels. Fords seem to have the biggest thirst and I can not justify the size of the 5500 Chevy or its ride. I have a 06 Freightliner w/c7 cat for that job, but need the GVW of a small cab 550 or 5500 Dodge to do this job. I have located both trucks but need to make adecision on one or the other. Is there less H.P. in the cab and chassis than the DRW pick ups? What I have read the 5500 is available with a 19500 GVWR. Is there any one out there maxing these trucks out. I have been known to avoid a scale or two. Thanks for any info please, got to pull the trigger on this one soon.
