FASS
I'm thinking about updating my truck with a FASS. My question is for those of you that have installed the FASS, what are the most noticeable changes???
What did it do to your MPG???
Do you think it is worth the cost???
Thanks for the help

i personally went with the airdog 150 gph because it was much cheaper (there was a deal on them)and basically the same pump as the fass. after the install i noticed a major increase in power (i also have 100 hp injectors and an edge ez) and my mpgs went up by about 1-2 if i can keep my foot out of it. Overall I am extremely happy with the difference in performance. i also now have the piece of mind that i don't have to worry about my stock lift pump going out since i have replaced it. hope this helps.
I called Airdog's customer service and the guy I got was also very informative and helpful. He said he would do anything to help me out. He also had a cummins so he knew a little about the trucks as well. Right now Airdog still has its deal going on. They are $499.99 which is a nice price break. Here is the site I ordered from and was happy with.

Thatpump would work really well if you are planning on modifying the truck later, such as adding bigger injectors and a big programmer. This pump would always keep the injection pump with as much fuel as it could want.

This one would be good to use if you are not planning on going with any big mods or really wanting to dump the fuel through it.
Here is also pureflow technologies site, which is who makes the Airdog http://www.pureflowtechnologies.com/AirDog.htm
If you would likeyoucan contact them and even see what they would recommend for your truck and ask them what there difference is between them and FASS. Toll Free: 877-463-4373
This is what I did and I also called FASS as well. It is good to be informed so you don't end up wasting your money.

If you dont plan on going with larger injectors or mods to the hilt the airdog100 is better for you. more than enough and it is easier to install. you just use all of the stock tubing. I would let it go through your stock filter canister. because of the fuel heater and you can still run your stock filter as well.
GOD RAM IT is right. the 150 was a little more difficult to install. i don't use my truck for towing though so i am just building a toy to beat the ricers withand have the ability to park it and drive something else if i need to so it wasn't so bad for me. i actually don't drive it very much at all. i try to keep it clean in the garage so the salt stays off of it. if your not planning on many mods the 100 gph is the way to go.
