You buy it and fly to Seatac...I'll pick you up and drive you out there Then you can find out how it drives on I-90 back to Philly [8D]

No I've never driven one...drooled over them at car shows but that's about it.

 

Well just because it was built in 56, that doesn't mean they retired it in 56. I don't know how long these things stay in commision.

I had thougts of turning one of those old 2 1/2 ton trucks into a roll off, but then the issue of parking killed my idea. That, and the fact that they get like 6 MPG unloaded, and are loud, and don't stop well. details.....

On the 56, pick that bad boy up! That's got the 318 "poly" semi-hemi engine. Same engine you could get in the fury with two 4 barrels!!! What does that mean to you, you ask??? It shares mounting points and bellhousings (hell, i think the block is the same) of the old firepower hemi's, so pull out your 318, and bolt in a 331 or 354 hemi!!!!!!

 

I work with a guy that drives a 2 1/2 T truck like that one every day. Its still painted camo. I don't think he drives it very far each day, but it does take up two parking spaces, but then so does my truck
