I've been looking around trying to find someone that will sponsor a trailer for my truck. I sent an email to a trailer company I found in my state. It's family owned and operated so I thought they'd be a good choice for donating or sponsoring a trailer. The response I got back I couldn't believe. The guy was real nice but, said he couldn't afford to sponsor anything... that it would break him. Then he commences to send me pictures of why he can't afford to help.... WoW to say the least ! I really didn't need to see all that, just a " can't do it " would have been fine. Seems though.... a little ole trailer wouldn't have broken the bank ;-)

Reminds me of the commercial where the guy is showing off all of his stuff and in the end he says "and how can i afford this? I'm up to my eyballs in debt, cansomeone help me!?"

 

challenge him to a race. 1/4 mile. if you win, He sponsors you. If he wins, you will help him advertise.

 

I thought of that since along with the pictures he sent, he claimed his truck has 750hp/900tq. That is questionable since there's not too many Ford's making that kind of power.

They did a write up on his truck in Truckin' Mag so, my guess is he wouldn't know what to do at the track. It's all show. Must be nice though !!

 

I would just invite him out to the track and get to know the guy. That might go a long ways. Then once you get him there and he gets caught up in the moment of the track, challenge him. He'll cave.

 

.......and distract him while your buddy hooks up to his trailer and takes it.

 

thats crazy that he would send that stuff.... i bet your truck made him jealous

 

Why don't you do it the other way and ask him if he needs an electrician to wire up his McMansion?
