Default More troubles- check your water pump

Man, this has been the worst start of a new year that I can remember. Seems now I'm gonna be dealing with leaks. I had the truck at the mechanic's shop, still dealing with water in the cab. We got that fixed this time, butnoticed a rather large puddle of coolant under it.Told my mechanic"Naw, can't be mine. Must be one of your other piece o' junk Ferds in here". We moved my truck to a clean spot in the shop. Had another puddle the next morning. He said he's seen alot of Dodge trucks lately with water pump issues. I asked him for specifics, he said he's seenseveral in the past month.I scheduled an appointment with Dodge since it would be covered under warranty.
Drove the truck straight from his shop to Dodge. Talked to the "service advisor" about getting it looked into. He smiled and said there were 3 ahead of mine with the same issue!!!!!! Two were 04s and 1 an 05. Got a new water pump installed under warranty.
Bought the wife a new butcher block foldable table for Valentine's Day for our nearly new 5th wheel. Opened up the trailer for the first time since December, before all our recent troubles started. We wanted to check clearances for the table and see what it looked like in place.
Well, after moving the slide out we found the entire front corner of the slide wassoaked. Ran the furnace all day today to dry it out, and sprinkled Arm and Hammer on the mildew ridden carpet. We'll be treating the wood under the dinette with bleach next week, after it dries out. It will clean up fine, since we caught it soon enough. I'm just about sick and tired of leaks, I tell ya. This one will also be covered under warranty, thank goodness. Can't wait to see what other surprises are waiting for me!!! Hey, I think my computer is smoking............

At least your lift pump did not go out while you were towing horses in rural GA, then while you were driving it home from the shop with a brand new lift pump, the alternator catches on fire blowing the 120 amp fuse under the hood and toasting the alternator, then have to wait 2 days to find someone that actually had a 125 amp 12 v fuse, then a week later the clutch goes out and while you are driving it to the shop to get the clutch replaced, the brand new lift pump that was just installed a week ago starts blowing fuses.

My wife said she knew I wasn't going to get rid of the truck after that. The good thing was everything broke at once and I drove it about a year and a half before anything else had to be replaced, other than oil and tires.

try that crystal stuff that that you put in boats to keep the moisture out of the air in your trailer. That should help pull some of the moisture out of the air, and it's re-chargable. I use it all the time and it really works great.

Best of luckto ya brotha !!
