hey guys, have a question for you..I am going to rebiuld my 47re trans and was wondering where to get the best kit, only want the good stuff for it and also your opinions on converters...going to go with the ATS valvebody and controller just havent made up my mind on a converter yet.....what parts should I get as a heavy duty upgrade....I see that the band lever 5-1 ratio is what everyone is going with. Front band/rear band material, what is preferred?.........Dallas

 

when you call ATS for the valve body ask them, they will be able to point you in the right direction. . .or you can just get one of their already built trannies

 

Getting ready to rebiuld my 47RE as well already orderd the stuff i went with an ATS valve Body, Banks Billet torque converter, and Red Egale Clutches
