Any updates on the Line-X full body spray?
Someone posted pictures and info a while back on a near full body spray of color matched Line-X on their truck, and also with the after market fiberglass fenders (I think), etc. Last I saw there was some issue with the fenders and keeping the tail gate on after hitting bumps. Something about the fiberglass fenders not being as rigid or something.
Was wondering if there is any update on how that Line-X was holding up on the body and if the tail gate issue has been fixed?

As a side note, when I got my bed sprayed by the Line-X dealer in Annapolis a few months ago I asked him about the color matched product. He does not offer the color matched Line-X, and he thought there were only a couple of Line-X dealers on the West Coast who are set up for it.
Ive got line-x going down my rockers. . .it was a very good investment, plus looks good when she's all ****-n-span, which is rare
I did it to keep the rock chips down to a minimum and has done the job.

Ok, the truck I was thinking of may not have been Line-X then, perhaps Rhino? I don't know for sure, but I do remember it was an almond colored truck.
Since I am moving to Pennsylvania I was thinking about having the underside parts of the body and floorboard areas sprayed to keep the road salt and stuff out during the winter. Maybe that and at least the rocker panel area on the outside would be good. I'm still not sure on spraying the whole body up to the windows though.
I did see a '95 Ram, black, that had the entire body sprayed about 2 years ago. It didn't look too bad.

I remember the truck you are talking about. The guy Line-X'ed the whole truck in a tan and ran it in Baja if I remember.
It actually looked rather good.
Here's the thread (looks like the picts have been removed)

Yeah, that's the one!!! WIsh he would have posted more updates on it though.
I like the idea of the spray up to the windows, just not sure how it actually holds up over time. I know the spray on liner stuff is supposed to be "crack proof, peel proof" etc, etc but I see a lot of sprayed on liners peeling and pieces missing in a lot of trucks. Could be they have just abused it like crazy, but it would kinda suck to spray the body like that and have it start coming off later.

The ones that I've seen ripped and torn have been abused like crazy. On the outside of the truck, I would put money on it holding up just fine. My guess is the only worry would be if it rusted from the inside out.
