i am planning on going to my grand parents place which is 400 k from were i live ( i think thats 240 miles). i bought the truck used and i dont know if the preavious owner replased the lift pump and i dont know if i wana risk the trip and lose my injector pump, should the lift pump fail.

If its 240 miles each way....thats only 1/2 a tank each way. How many times have you filled your tank? There is no way to predict the future......if there was, I'd be rich.
