I Have my truck in the shop having Trans rebuilt. Now after it is rebuilt the mechanic calls to tell me the CHECK ENGINE light is one and I NEVER had that problem before and now a DTC code # 1692 coming up when he puts the scanner on the truck. He acts clueless as to what this code is. Can anyone help me out and let me know what a 1692 is? I own a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Diesel.
