I have a brand new 2008 2500 Cummins Ram, less than around 3,500 miles on it, and I found an oil leak. It is not bad at all, there is no drip yet, it is just pooling up where it is leaking from on some plate just below my oil filter. It is not coming from the filter, but from the rear bottom corner of that plate. Is anybody else having this problem? I am taking it to the dealership tomorrow to get it fixed. (cant upload pic right now.)

 

I have had no leaks on mine. but welcome tot the forum. Judging by your user name it looks like you are in Az, If so what part. we try to get meet and greets fairly often.

if it is a plate next to the filter that is where the oil cooler is located.

 

Dropped my truck off at the Dealership service Dept today. Manager personally took it. He is gonna call me tomorrow. I'll let ya'll know tomorrow what the verdict is.
