well sure it is whit the stock bed in place but since i can my 5' exauxt between the frame and my bed to hide my Y stack i bet it will be much easier ,i got nearly 7' room from the top of the tank to the steel plate
The units themselves are all the same but they may be set at different pressure depending on truck model and year. Early dodge diesels fuel pressure was 30lbs where my 02 is 15lbs. Don't know what the newer trucks are. Also don't know if Ferd, and Chitty Chitty bang bangs are the same pressures.I think I would call them and check...
hahaha thats a good one...i didnt steal it and im not changin jobs. hahaha i cant stop laughin. i got it from d and w diesel and i just had to order all the hoses fittings etc from them they are in now i gotta pay for em. does the pump have to be higher than the fuel tank ?
Doesnt matter where you mount the pump. Closer to the tank is ideal though. My pump is mounted up on the engine and I havent had any problems with it yet. Used to have a picture in my photo gallery of where I mounted it, but cant find it.
