Well after being on the phone with EDge for 10 minutes I am somewhat pleased. I was hoping they could send me a software fix I could install on my own. They actually said that with the version 5.1 the stuff it wasn't reading was normal. Three years ago it couldn't read those things. They apologized greatly for me being sold a unit that was on a shelf for three years and was not as fully functional as the current units advertise. Unfortunately there is no software fix though. They said sand it to them, they will do a complete hardware and software upgrade, activate the camera controls and all the other parameters it should be monitoring all for free and I should have it back by the end of next week.
For a guy who loves instant gratification, this is hell. I barely even played with it last night because it wasn't telling me everything it should have been and was lying to me about my engine temp.
Oh well, I will give you guys another update on this system when it gets back. I the meantime I am going back to the dealer dude and having him clear whatever DTC's this fiasco caused and getting my friggin backup camera kit.

***Update*** The guys at Edge are cool as hell.
So, I sent them my A2 and as you may remember, I also did not receive my backup camera from the 4X4 shop.. his excuse was that I only paid for backup camera ready kit. Well I paid $1015 freakin dollars for just the A2, I had better get the friggin camera because the entire kit retails on Edge's site for only $999. Well after going toe to toe with the 4X4 shop dude, he wasn't gonna give me what I wanted because he was operating under the old price sheet, too bad for me.
I called Edge and they are going to email him a new price sheet and send me out my camera kit with my A2 when it ships back out from them next week.
Heck yes vindication is mine!!
I will never go back to that shop.
