Default hvac/blend door heat DIY

is there a DIY thread for the blend door problem fix. My 99 doesnt seem to be getting good heat, just barely defogs the front window......Dallas

If there is one, it would probably be in the 2nd gen catagory. If not, PLEASE write one up when you do yours. That kind info is awesome !!

I recall seeing a blend door fix, not sure if it was on a ram, dakota or durango... cant tell you how long ago either[&:] you might try searching in the ram section and select all of the ram sub-forums (use the shift, click to select multiples).

I'd like to know the easiest and fastest way to fix mine as well. I don't even know where to start...what has to come off/out and how to get it apart..

I've read the service manual and unfortunately, the whole dash has to come out.....great...........Dallas
