His comment reminded me of an old military saying "if its stupid but it works, its not stupid"

Heres thenew version: "if its inferior but it destroys everything else, its not inferior"

Not only did it have a ton of wind resistance but he also had the a/c on the max setting and kept that sucker floored

Most people will pull over and let it cool off when the little red light comes on. (Even though when the red light comes on, it's probably too late) ... I guess since he's got all those gauges he disconnected the little red light so he doesn't think he has to pull over.

And they give us a hard time at the dealership with some of our mods? And we don't abuse the Cummins.

I think what he meant by "inferior product" is that the ram is much older than his duracrap, and his should be able to pull more than it because it has more power and better technology.

look at the dodge, the air comes up off the roof and windsheild of it then over the 5 wheel then the jeep just slides in behind the 5'er. compared to up off the wind sheild of the chevy then straight in to the huge wall.

Ya, he should have had the uhaul truck facing forward. Wind resistance plays alot when towing, especially at 70+! As soon as GM seen the tape and seen him hammering down the road with all the warnings and bells going off, they will say he was abusing the truck and will not buy it back, and hopefully void the idiot's warranty also.

What the hell did he expect? An inline 6 will always out tow a V-8.

The V-8 is not a good platform for a diesel engine. But the Ford and Chevy guys will never figure that out. Too bad for them.

I always smile and wave as we pass them on any hill towing our 33 ft. 5th wheel. I'm sure it makes them feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

That guy is definately an **** hole. As a former Service Manager for a GM dealership I can tell you first hand about the Durasux issues.
Now how many Isuzu engines (maker of the D-Max)do you see in OTR trucks? Now how many Cummins do you see? Nuff said. I love my Cummins, still not sure aboutthe Dodge wrapper, it's growing on me, butI still don't like the seats.
