Default Fuel additive

I have a 2001, 2500, diesel, auto. I would like to know who uses fuel additives, if they work and which ones. I was told by someone that a lot of big rigs use brake fluid with their fill ups but.

Whoever told you that needs to be hunted down and shot. Dumbasses!
Just buy a good quality fuel, whereever you see the big boys filling up is usually a good place for you to fill.
Stay away from neighborhood stations that don't move a whole lot of diesel fuel.
Diesel fuel is good enough by itself.

Default RE: Fuel additive

I use a fuel additive. I get it from a buddy of mine, I can't think of the name of it right now. It helps keep the injectors clean. Plus in the winter time it heps to keep the fuel from jelling up...had a prob with that last year, learned my lesson. I guess it's up to what you want to do. You could always call a dealership and ask what's best to do...
