Well today I had some free time and the wife needed to sleep before work so I decided to go to home depot and return a 3/8 breaker bar that was broke (husky brand) that has a so called lifetime warruntee. I went to the return counter and the lady sd she has no idea. called the manager over and they told me unless it is 90 days or newer I have to call husky and send it in. I was so pi$$ed I told them to throw it away. I came home grabbed some other stuff I have recently bought from there and found the receipt and took it back. told them since they dont honor there product I dont want it. When I left the 2nd time the stupid sliding door did not open, exiting the entrance. I grabbed it and slammed it open as hard as I can, it hit and almost closed completely before catching itself. No one said anything. When I came back to my house I was in my garage. here is what I seen. a 28 gallon husky compressor, my rigid shop vac, my table saw, my show lights (halogens on a stand) some chemicals for the house. contractors trash bags. all home depot purchased. I will personally use lowes for all my home owner needs going forward and craftsman, snap on and mac for my tools. (mostly craftsman as I am poor)
just thought I would blow off some steam.

 

well that not fun jimmy but u lost control buddy...

Your right Woli, but I work hard for my money and to be mislead on something really irritates me.

 

I went through something similar at Home Depot. I bought a dremmel that I didn't use at all ( although I did take it out of the box to check it out ). I had taken other stuff back the week before from the project and didn't tak the dremmel back then because I wasn't sure if I wanted it or not. When I decided that I didn't and i took it back, the lady thanked me for bringing it back and just kept it. When I asked for my refund, she said that the reciept indicated that i had already returned it ( basically calling me a thief ). LOOOOONG story short, the cops showed up, I was "restrained" and after writing a letter to Home Depot Corporate, I was given my refund.

What still pisses me off today though is that that b**ch is still working there and is still a manager.

 

Dang Jimmy, I will send you a new breaker bar if it will make you feel better You have to remember the employees just do what their told, This is the upper level managements fault.Those guys dont give a crap about whats going on, They are there just for a pay check and a small one. I try to buy everything from local guys for this very reason. It does cost a little more but the service is always there.

 

lowes sucks worse then home depot imo. I got to ace hardware whenever possible

and im not mad often but when im getting mad i say to the guy to stop cuz im coming mad...when im mad,
i mean really mad i dont see anything save my target..

my wife did saw me MAD 2 times since 8 years... first time i was on the phone whit a customer of me and the last time was
whit my neighbor he as treaten me to slay my dog whit the shovel he had on hands if my dog walked on his yard,so i come closer to him and
then he tell me that he'l kill me with the same shovel if i step on his yard...
a guy got to do what a guy got to do
so i stepped on his yard ans asked him not to miss me cuz i wont miss him....
then he come to my nose and blablabla u know the kind of **** 2 mad guy can say right?
i asked him if he think its very bright to argue about slaying me for stepping on grass...
we ended this by shaking hands...

2 years ago and this winter he pulled him 3 time out of the ditch while he was scraping his yards and he came do my driveway 2 times to thank me....
funny how i like this guys now

Lets just say that the cop had something to talk about at his dinner table that night, that's for sure.

 

I think Ace will be the place for a while, there is one in my area somewhere. I will have to familularize myself with it.
