Default 2006 2500 CTD dual axel conversion.

I did a search but didn't see any thing on it. What is involved in the conversion? Does someone have a wright-up on this?
Thanks.

I screwed that up! I forgot about that. I should have said dual wheels (ala 3500).
That could explain why my search didn't show anything.
Thanks.

Bill, all you need to do the conversion from 25 to 3500 is go to the dealer or arrowtec and get the front hub extensions. They are exactly the same as the factory set up. Bolt them on the front axles and find six 17" dually wheels and tires and a flat bed or a dually bed and your good to go. When my tires wear of of my 06 3500 single rear wheel I am going to do the same. I have checked around and the factory front extensions are the way to go. I high priced dealer here in SC quoted me 143.00 a piece for theextensions. Good luck and ley us know how it turns out.

not hard at all. . .just as chris mentioned or you can hit up ebay, pull-a-part, or heck, PM member parts/service, he can quote you how much it would cost from the dealer.

Your from Plantation? Nice parts through there. Trying to think of someplace around there that might have a bed... I would hit up ABC auto repair at 1001 NW 1st st. And talk to Mitch. He might be able to locate a bed for you and possibly even install it at a fair price. I work there in the summer and he is one hell of a mechanic...
