Default 6.7 with 3.73 or 4.10?

I left behind my idea of getting a mega cab Hemi with lifetime warranty and 8k less and I am going with my first plan to order a CTD 2500 4x4 mega cab w/ auto trans.
I will not lift it (other than level kit) and plan on upgrading to a 35 inch tire.
With the Hemi...I read and believe it was a must to go to 4.10's or even a 4.56 (powerwagon size).

The truck will mainly be used as an empty daily driver...but will want to tow my 3 horses and/or smaller toy hauler (when I buy those...???)

I do not want to over rev the engine at hiway speeds but want it to be quicker around town.

Any other order opinions?

thanks

Side note: Has anyone seen this truck shoot out? http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/2007...shootout3.html

i have the 3.73's in my 3500. it is only a difference of 1000 lbs towing capacity. my 3500 mega SRW 6.7 auto is rated for over 13000 lbs. i drive mine 35 miles to work each way 6-7 days a week so that is why i went with the 3.73 gears. it is still very capable of towing. i have pulled a 20' enclosed snowmobile trailer with three sleds and the engine did not even feel the trailer.

this is probably "apples and oranges". i have an '07 5.9 that came with 3.73, i changed over to 4.10. the stock gears gave me 13,500 lbs towing, and the change gave me 15,500 lbs towing, the extra 2000 lbs was huge when it came to our decision of which fiver to buy.

You didn't say which transmission you wanted. If you get the G56 manual, then your only choice is the 3.73 gearing.
