Default oily substance on turbo

hi guys! Been ahwile!

Anyhow, I pulled my stock airbox off today and noticed that my air filter had icky black oily shtuff on the filter side. Upon removing the air tube I noticed some more oily black icky stuff that appears to be coming out of the turbo. I started my rig with the parts off and noticed a strong exhaust smell in the engine compartment. Am I a retard or is something amiss?

Oh yea, is sharky still wearing short skirts with screw me boots?

Thx all!

As long as it doesn't look like your turbo sucked up a quart of oil and slung it all over the inside of turbo, intake tube and air box, you're ok. Some oily residue is normal.

Doesnt the breather tube dump back into the intake on the 6.7l?

Now that I think about it, I do believe the breather tube does dump into the air tunnel. HMMMM... pretty smart Jaker! I guess that could be it. i will keep an eye on it!

Thx all!
