Default Installing a leveling kit

Just wonderin if anyone has installed a Hell Bent Steel 2" leveling kit. I just bought one from their website, (couldnt pass it up for only 65 smackers) and wanted to know if this is an install that I can do by myself. I am pretty mechanically inclined but this is my first time working on a 4x4! Also, since my truck is new and under full warranty do you think that I will have issues with dodge because of the leveling kit? Thanks in advance.

you can do it yourself, all you need are two sturdy jackstands, a jack and basic hand tools. you will need to raise up the front end enough to give you enough clerance to put in the spacer. also be sure to go to the alignment shop once your done to bring everything back into spec.

be sure to get some longer shocks as well since the stockers dont quite have enough travel for the extra 2". Ive got some Bilstien 5100's that I'll be putting in when I put in my leveling kit since they allow for more travel.

i heard the stockers handle it just fine as long as you don't do hard core off road driving.

my stockers worked ok when I had the 2" leveling kit in, they were crap to begin with so I couldnt tell you how they held up.

Thanks guys for the feedback, I'm going to install myself, keep the stock shocks, and take it in for an alignment afterwards. I was glad to hear that the stock shocks will work as I want to keep it low budget and I dont do extreme off-roading. Thanks again guys.
