Like Olddodge says 3.73's and 6 speed manual = about the same final drive ratio as auto with 4.10's. I need to update my mileage chart and post it again. I started out getting 14 - 15 new and slowly climbed to the 19 - 20 range in MY normal driving which is favorable to good mileage. I am now at 58Kmiles. I am spending a lot of time on state highways running 50 - 65 mph. If I run 70+ on the interstate I don't get the good mileage.Tires stay aired up to 65 front, 70 rear. I don't care if it rides like a truck, it is one. I service it to the intervals in the book and drive it carefully.

WOW that's AWESOME !!

Right now I'd be happy to see 16 mpg, or at least a steady 15.

At what mileage did you go from 14 -15 to 19 - 20?

It was a gradual increase over time. By about 10K I could get 18's and the occasional 19 then it leveled out for a while then in the mid 40k's it started to climb again.

Jimmy, my lie o meter is off by 4+ mpg, my numbers are all hand calculated.

Mayfair, I still think you either have some problem or your truck never broke in properly. I do know that where I buy fuel can affect my mileage by 1 - 2 mpg easliy.

The last two tanks ( the one in this post and the current one) have been purchased at a new local station that is a no name Indian place and this tank is shaping up to better than the last one. Today I hit a new high of 500 miles to the first half tank. See below.

Last update as I know you guys are probably sick of hearing about it. I filled up today. I ran 650 miles and took on 30.77 gallons at the same pump at the same station to net 21.124 MPG. I thought about pushing it and making it into the 700 mile club, but I worry about killing the in tank lift pump.

Nice! I'll be happy the day I reach 20... hit 19.0 only 1x. I can get into the mid 18's now pretty easily.

You guys are lucky. I just got 445 miles for the first time, 16.2 mpg. It was all highway with a tailwind. I normally only get about 14 mpg.

I guess you haven't seen much of an improvement with your Max Mileage?
