I have a edge programmer and i love it. What is a safe max boost point to set the stock turbo at without casuing any problems?

 

I have an Edge and it seems to max itself out at 38psi. I think I have it set at 40 but have never hit it.

 

stock turbo can push 45# but that is as far as I would push it. . .and I realy wouldnt want to in the first place since around that magic number things tend to fly apart with the HY35 we have.

realy above 40 or so you are only pushing hot air thus increaseing your EGT's. the stocker flows alright, but if your wanting to push more you will need to look at an aftermarket turbo that can flow more air.
