My 06 cel light came on yesterday did the 3 clicks w/the key and got 2 codes:P0111and P2506 I found the 1st one but not the 2nd one,does anyone know what it is? Thanks, Bill

 

you sure it wasnt "P2509' ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent"

I don't see p2506 in the diag section....

 

Rut Ro, I just had a P2509, but mine was due to a broken battery cable. Check your batteryconnections.

 

hey jim which cable was broken and where was the break located at?

 

It was the passangers side battery + cable. The clamp (lead)was torn and could not tighten any further.

Oops, it was the drivers side.

My fault it was a P2509 truck ran fine it has a load of wood in it right now.I am taking it to the dealer on Tues. to get them corrected.I appreciate the responces. Bill

 

I think that Jim called this one. The follow are possible causes of this code....

Possible Causes
POOR CONNECTIONS AT THE BATTERIES
LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE
OPEN FUSED B+ TO ECM
OPEN GROUND CIRCUIT
BATTERY + SHORTED TO OTHER CIRCUITS
RETURN CIRCUIT SHORTED
BATTERY + SHORTED TO GROUND
