For those wondering, I wasn't there but this is what happen.... a truck crashed at this event this weekend. It spun out at the 60ft hit the left wall, then hit the right wall, clipped a telephone pole in half and rolled a couple times. Apparently had he not had a rolled cage, he may not have made it. To top it off... there was no ambulance at the track and it took an hour for one to get there !! Needless to say... people aren't to happy about that.

 

Hey Trition I was hoping you'd make it down butthat is quite a drive for ya. We went with 2 of my friends that have Powerjokers 6" lifts the green on 37"s the white on 35"s. I got crap the whole time cause I wouldn't do the mud bog (which wasn't very deep) cause my Tq Conv. slippin (almost got the $ to upgrade).

The green trucks tranny decided to take a leak on I-10 spraying Tranny fluid all over my truck that I had just detail for the show! then got their late cause the powerjoke broke, o yeah he's been getting $h!T for it...lol



Yes I did see the Gary wreck and my bud has it on the camcorder I'm just waiting for him to email it to me. I'll post it when I get it. Heres a few pics I snapped of the truck though. Which most everyone there signed with a sharpie. He is ok, and it was rediculous that we past the ambulance when we left the show it was finally getting there. And we stayed there about an hour to see if the racing was cancelled or not. Sucked though I bought a 2-day pass and cause the timing and lights were linked through that pole and the gaurdrail messed up they canceled everything for today and the sled guy said screw it so we all left w/o a rembursement after staying the night up there and all...O well (&^* happens.

wow !! that was not a fun ride down the track !! thanks for the pics. I look forward to seeing video too. You're right... it was a long drive. Plus, I was just down there at a race in Albany, about 110 miles from there. I didn't want to drive all that way again for a 1/8 mile track.

Man.... I hope you got that tranny fluid off quick... that stuff will ruin the paint !

 

It sat on there last night I didn't get a chance to wash it till this afternoon. At the track I dumped a bottle of water on there and used one of my waxin clothes to get it of the grill chrome and paint. stuff was all over the windsheild though and the dust sticks to that stuff great FYI...lol

BTW they started watering down the bog the mourning of the even and didn't till the clay up or anything so it took forever to get the thing rutted out, Aaron ran his 37.50 through it in 2wd holding the front brake several times and then let um fill the rutts with water that made it a challege for the smmaler trucks but nothing that 4wd and 35" would hang up in.

The wheely trucks were awesome though! And the 2 trucks (garys and one other green one phil something I think) very impressive up till the wreck that sucked, turned out better than we thought it would, he was completely sideway on 2 wheel for a sec, how he didn't roll I have no idea...
