I just checked the average MPH on my truck, it is 44.59 MPH. The way you can do this is hold the trip od button while you turn the key to the run poss. , keep holding the button while it goes through all the checks, at the end of all that it will give you the total hours.

 

yup. . .that hour meter can be your best friend or your worst enemy. but 44mph aint too shabby.

 

You can do the same thing with your Garmin if you have one. I think my average was something like 35MPH.

 

Mine said 61 36. Whats that mean? It also said A7 00 .

Its an 03 with 110k on it.

 

Mine gave me a bunch of trip mileage, but not my average MPG. How do I know which one it is?

 

Chris. . .I'm not sure what you did, but to get to the hour meter you need to make sure the readout is in the ODO mode, turn the key to off. depress and hold the trip button and turn the key to run while holding the trip button. it will show up after a few seconds.

 

What you are going to get is total hours , then you can do the math to get avg. MPH.
