My truck crapped out on the hiway. Getting codes p0633 & p2509.

 

My buddies stranded on the hiway with a no start. It's an 07 diesl ram with codes p0633 & p2509. Any insight???

 

P2509-ECM/PCM POWER INPUT SIGNAL INTERMITTENT
Possible Causes POOR CONNECTIONS AT THE BATTERIES-- LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE-- OPEN FUSED B+ TO ECM-- OPEN GROUND CIRCUIT---BATTERY + SHORTED TO OTHER CIRCUITS---RETURN CIRCUIT SHORTED--- BATTERY + SHORTED TO GROUND--- DEFECTIVE BATTERY
P0633-SKIM SECRET KEY NOT STORED IN PCM
Possible Causes IMPROPER IGNITION KEY IS BEING USED--- SKIM DTC'S--- SKIM NOT CALIBRATED PROPERLY
For P2509, tell him to ckeck his battery cables to make sure the ends are tight, and the P0633 is probally because he has some sort of programmer (bully dog, banks, etc..) that is causing this code.

 

I have had the 2509 code before, twice actually. It happens when I go to start the truck and it very breifly fires but dies quickly, it fires up on the second try but with the cel on.

 

anyone know where the wiring harness thread went to? there are some spots on the harness that have caused multiple problems, one of which was stalling IIRC... I'll see if I can find it.
