Default Tranny went bye-bye!!

Well, my stock tranny finally went bye-bye at 156,000 miles.

I'm getting it rebuilt instead of buying a replacement unit, but I'm putting some upgraded parts in it.

I ordered my TC from Goerend. Does anyone have any suggestions on other parts?

I don't want to do this again!! [:@]

since you're alreay woking with Goerend I'd have him build your valve body too. The rest depends on what you do with your truck.

No, Dave isn't doing to whole rebuild. I'm getting a local guy to do that. Just getting parts from Dave.

I don't know a lot about autos but the broken parts were:
TC
Pump
Rear Annulas Gear ??
All bands
clutches
governor pressure solenoid
" " transducer
etc. etc. etc...

sounded like a whole lot to me.

I kinda figured a valve body would be good too. Just don't won't hard shifts.

I don't sled pull or drag race (offically!!) just tow occasionally and enjoy my CTD!!
