Yes you can have it done... Any 98.5 to 2002 can get the flash done... It will cost you roughly 1 shop hour at your local dealer. (80-120 Dollars). Or you can barrow a Smarty from someone and get it for FREE!

If you go to the dealer you want to print the TSB out and take it with you because no one knows how to do it... (LMAO!) The instruction are right there for how to use there tool! (Roll Eyes!)

Mopar ya beat me to it, the smarty and smarty jr. automatically activate it, If you got someone near you with a smarty you can just barrow it and program up then back to stock without even starting it, and there ya have it. I assume it work the same way as the 06 I havevia mopars post. The dealer was gonna charge me $85 a week before I got my smarty glad I thought he was crazy cause it came in handy a week and a half later when I went to Oklahoma and it was well below freezing...High Idle love to drink that diesel though...

Dealership did mine for free while they had the truck on the scanner anyway chasing a random code that popped a few months ago.

I was going to ask about any new flashes while my truck was just on the scanner, but then I got worried about any stuff that it does that I DON'T want done ( back up horn ect ) so I bailed out.

Might want to call Columbiana Dodge. They did mine for nothing when it was in for some warranty work. The service manager is a pretty cool diesel head. They shouldn'tbe too far from you either. www.columbianacjd.com
