LMAO about the school !! That is actually the highschool that I went to. It's right across the street from my house. If you look in the background you can kinda catch a glimpse of some construction work going on. They are building a new highschool, and they are going to tear this one down.Two world famous people,me and Sylvester Stallone went to that school pictured.

I'm definately going to get rid of the satin wheels. They take up too much room in my garage, and you aint leavin wheels laying outside in my hood and finding them in the morning !!

Buzzy - You are right, they ARE polished aluminum, however they shine like chrome so I just called them chromies. I think they have a clear coat over them. What should I use to keep them polished / waxed?

Frog - I'll eventually wind up with my Pops 3rd gen, so I'll have one someday, although I've got to admit I still kinda like the look of the 2nd gens a bit more. The 3rd gen wheels do look good on 2nd gens though.

Mayfair that is funny that you talk about getting your pop's 3rd gen....I keep trying to convince my pop to give up his 2nd gen

Yeah pops is right across town. It actually really sucked that it rained THAT day!! We'd just gotten the truck out of the detail shop. Since he's letting me use his bike to learn on after the hubby was done re-building his front end we took it down and got it detailed for him. It looked sooooo good all clean and smooth and shiny!!

The airbox is stock - heck before that pic I think the filter was stock (I love ya Pop's but your truck needed some love - he lurks at times). But the hubby did mod the box and change the exhaust. So it is running much better.

 

Did you give the old tires a proper fairwell?

Looks mighty fine there Mayfair, reminds me of the "Classic Look". Wonder how much your speedo will be off since moving up to the 285's. Suppose the dealership can re-program the puter, if you can trust them to.
