Default FASS pics in bed mount

alright i wasnt thinkin about it but i know that i just said i installed my FASS system in another post, and i know ill be gettin the [sm=ttiwwp.gif]thing haha so here ya go...i installed it in the bed cuz under the cab is too low for my liking, plus it looks cool! haha, but it is sucking fuel up to the pump so iim thinkin maybe it woulda had more psi if it was lower than the tank...

Are you gonna put a heat shield between it and your stack? You might need to shield it a little.

Dude I was JUST wondering where you've been. It seemed like you dissapeared right after getting your FASS.

Anyway, how do you like it? What kinda fuel pressure are you getting? Like Riv said, servicing it looks pretty easy, but I think I'd be afraid to have it sitting out like that. Maybe if it was mounted INSIDE of the box instead of outside. No offense, ut it looks a little hazzardous there.

Sorry ...

need for apology brother...i like bein able to see it, people dont know what the hell it is so im sure they say "what the hell is that" and so on...haha. the stacks dont get hot anough to hurt anything, and it has a fuel heater port where u run hot coolant through it so heat wont hurt anyways.

I would put a shield all the way around it so that if you haul something in the bed, it won't bump up against it or cut the fuel line. You know the old saying, "If it can go wrong, t wll."
