Steve was just standing around making his wife do all the work...HAHA...Actually my appearance made him stop, I think I actually seen dirt underhis fingernails. Got to meet Louie as well, what a vicious dog!

As it turns out Steve the talking about the overtime while I was there musta either cursed me or blessed me (depending on how you look at it). Got informed today, I am going to be working straight through til the 25th of April. I will be a dead dog at the end of that run....but afterUncle Sam takes his cut Ishould be able to buy an extra beer at the end of it.

yeah I am waiting on getting the tranny done, as far a being responsible...welll, that is why I am getting the tranny done, I know me and a little taste is all I need and then I can't get enough, thus the reason for the two kids...oops that's another story.

So here I am 5 hours from my truck, waiting to drop a little over $5k in the tranny and can't do it. So the tranny trip, when I get home, might just have to include a couple extra parts.

I still think the 5k for the tranny is overkill... a heavy duty rebuild + TC +VB should be fine for what you need it for. I've run my power up quite a bit and the tranny holds fine.

 

yeah, yeah I know, I am slacking on installing that thing. Yes I know 5k might be overkill for the tranny, however I am highly considering going to the tough truck challenge in Redding in June. That means sled pulling would be part of the game, and I am really not sure I wanna do any sled pulling without billet input, intermediate and output shafts. So all billet shafts, TC, VB and Billet Flexplate is just a bit over $5k installed.
Not that I wanna drop $5k just to play a little bit, but I would rather pay $5k now, than pay $2k less now and a tow bill home and another $5k to do it right the second time. I am all about saving a buck, but when it comes at the cost of spending more bucks in the future, well...I am learning as I get older that it just is not wise. Plus I am trying to pay for it with cash money instead of running up credit cards.

Once I get things in order I will make you guys proud.
