Default Ball Joints?

I just replaced my drivers side wheel bearing thinking that was the play in the wheel since I just went thru this 2 months ago with the other side. This time after I replaced it I still had a hell of a wobble going down the road. I lifted the truck again and the tire still had play. I looked further and it appears my upper ball joint is crapping out on me. But I go to this site http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php and there are a whole load of questions I cant answer. I have a 1999 dodge ram 2500 diesel. I have no idea what axles I have? All I know is the sticker in the door reads 4850 lbs on the front axle. But does not say what one. Is it the dana 44, or the dana 60? I have no freakin' idea. Help!!!!!
