I was just inspecting everything from the underside of the truck when I noticed a small spring (maybe 3 inches long) just hanging by one end on front driver's side of the tranny. Any ideas where the other end might hook? I'm looking for my camera and if I find it I'll get you a pic.

 

mabe it was there to hold the line are the tranny cable out the way...

 

theres a small bracket assembly where the tranny shifter is, thats one attachment point and the other is right on top of the trannny selctor lever on the side of the trans.. the spring isareturn for the throttle pressure valve inside the trans......Dallas
